4th Dec 2025 9:00:am – 4th Dec 2025 12:00:pm
This advanced, 2 half-days' (Dec 2 and 9, 9:00-12:00 each day) workshop builds on either of our Introductory (Level 1 full-day/two half or 2-day intensive) MI workshops. This event is sponsored by the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre (WECHC) and is open to all Ontario residents who are either health professionals or students enrolled in a health professional program. All participants need to have completed Monarch’s Level 1 workshop or equivalent (click here to view the MI skills covered in our Level 1 course). Specifically, the Monarch System’s Level 2 offering is designed to help health practitioners work with patients/clients who are overwhelmed, stuck behaviourally, and/or are struggling to make the changes they want to make. Many clients are trapped in a view that they cannot change their behaviours, and this workshop focuses on helping clients re-frame and re-shapte this experience, in service of fostering meaningful health-related behaviour changes. The workshop includes amplified MI video examples; along with additional participant MI practice; and feedback opportunities to support the immediate integration of the new advanced tools within participants’ professional and personal lives. Monarch Level 3 Progressive Workshop on Motivational Interviewing & Coaching Tools for Healthcare Professionals ~ WECHC ~ Jan 29 & Feb 5, 2026 {via Zoom}
29th Jan 2026 9:00:am – 29th Jan 2026 12:00:pm
Similar to the previous levels of training, the Level 3 Progressive training builds from Monarch's previous offerings and is both interactive and “hands-on”. The event is sponsored by the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre and is open to health professionals who have completed Monarch's Level 1 and Level 2 workshop trainings or equivalent (a reminder of our level 1 and 2 skills' taught is available here). This set of workshops is offered virtually, via Zoom, for 3 hours each day on 27 January and 3 February, 2025, from 9:00-12:00 each day; to be eligible for a Level 3 course completion certificate, participants must attend both days and participate fully in all aspects of the workshop. Click on this Level 3 Flyer link (pending) to see information about this level 3 workshop. The 'progressive' nature of the workshop is such that we want to design the event around participants' experiences using MI and your needs re enhancing, honing, and cementing your MI knowledge and practical skills in service of best impacts on your clients/patients. To that end, by 15 January 2026, registered participants are asked to complete a set of questions from a survey monkey questionnaire at this link . For example, we want to know what MI tools you have used most frequently; what issues have arisen in using MI with your clients; and what would make a level 3 MI workshop useful to you. Consistent with our MI workshops, there will be lots of MI demonstrations; opportunities to practice previously learned and new MI skills in partnerships and/or small groups; and to participate in large group discussions and question-answering sessions. Registration information is available at this link {pending}. For more information about our company, our events, resources, and workshops please visit our Monarch website https://monarchsystem.com
